Arrived on a Saturday. The receptionist really nice, didn’t take our money for parking. He advised us to park in front cause was free until Monday morning and just afterwards to park in the hotel’s parking- 30 euro per night. Paid parking (city parking) is from 09 am to 10 pm daily. Sunday and legal holidays is free. The hotel has the feeling and a bit the smell of an old hotel. The carpet on the hallway has seen better days. We had a triple room, really spacious, facing the interior courtyard. Quiet and cosy, features 1 toilet room with a small sink and a bathroom with an walk in shower and a bigger sink. Also has a balcony with some sitting area. Mattress were good. Not really fond of the pillows filled with some small cotton balls or similar. Breakfast was not included in our reservation. We paid 25€/person / meal. A lot of options and really good breakfast. Location wise it is really in the city center, 5 mins walking distance from Check Point Charlie. Close to a lot of restaurants and cafes. Berlin Mall is within 15 minutes walking distance.

The location was very convenient, in the center of Berlin, where you could reach a lot of tourist objects and restaurants on foot. There was an underground station two blocks from the hotel, which was very convenient if we wanted to go further. I liked the hotel a lot- it is such an atmospheric place, with several leisure spaces, pictures on walls etc. Christmas market at Gendarmenmarkt was also within a walking distance. We liked the room size (for 3 people)- it was spacious and well designed, with two separate areas. I particularly liked that it had a balcony, although we did not ask for it specifically. To my joy, there was a coffee machine in the room! Not just a kettle, but a real coffee machine producing a decent espresso in the morning. I am thinking to come back, if I ever visit Berlin again.

The location was perfect for us. It's a 5 minute walk to the U6-U2 stop Stadtmitte, and the Checkpoint Charlie site is also only 5 minutes walk around the corner. There were also some nice restaurants and general gathering places nearby. The facilities were great for us. We had plenty of room to unpack and relax in the room for a few days. The shower has good pressure and temperature, and you can listen to the TV in the bathroom through overhead speakers. The staff were helpful and friendly. We called to get an additional pillow and bathrobes, which they brought straight to the room within 30 minutes. We were very happy with our stay and would happily stay again.

We booked a room for 3 people and got a very big room. Super spacious and very quiet as it did not face the road. The bathroom was new and clean and shampoo, gel and conditioner was available. We also received a welcome drink of our choice for free, which was a really nice surprise. The hotel seems to be hosting professional and business guests and the staff is welcoming, helpful and professional. One of the big advantages staying is this hotel is the location, it is less then 5 minutes walking distance from Checkpoint Charlie.

The location is great. The room was spacious and it was really nice having a toilet separate from the bathroom. Having a balcony was a bonus. The hotel also had bicycles for rent which was great, as Berlin is great to see above ground, without having to walk everywhere. Close to some nice restaurants, and also to sights like Checkpoint Charlie and walking distance to Potsdamer Platz, Unter den Linden and the Brandenburg Gate was really handy.
